Pupils rewarded with top marks in LAMDA Exams

This week we are able to finally share how very proud we are of all the children for their excellent set of LAMDA examination results. Almost 50 exams were taken with a 100% pass rate, and a staggering 65% passed with Distinction, and 33% with Merit. Read more

Musical Moment Form 5: Pachelbel's Canon

An astonishingly accomplished performance from Form 5 (5GH) of Pachelbel’s Canon. The pod have been working with Mr Biggs for just 2 weeks to perfect this performance. Played in 6 parts they have undertaken score manipulation, revised notation, learned their individual parts and put them together to produce this moving recital. Read more

Stig of the Dump: Creative Writing Form 3

To fit in with our prehistoric theme this term, pupils in 3PF have read the beginning of Stig in the Dump, a book enjoyed by Miss Freeman when she was a child. A boy called Barney is fascinated by the chalk pit near his grandmother’s house and ends up tumbling into it. Read more
