Enchanting French Immersion at Château de la Baudonnière ((Form 6 Residential Trip)
In Normandy, based at the fairy-tale Château de la Baudonnière, the team of native-speaking French animateurs ensured Form 6 experienced a truly immersive and authentic French language trip were there was lots of opportunity to improve comprehension, teach vocabulary, boost confidence and inspire a love of learning languages.
They enjoyed opportunities to use French in a real-world settings such as the French market shopping challenge, bread making workshop and visit to Normandy's gravity-defying Mont-Saint-Michel. In the evenings the animateurs delivered a fun-packed programme to keep everyone entertained and immersed in the language.
Making the most of the fantastic on-site facilities at Château de la Baudonnière they enjoyed the excitement and freedom of the outdoors and faced the physical and emotional challenges of a whole range of adventure activities to build their resilience, encourage co-operation and develop independent thinking.
