Carmel has worked in HR for 30 years in a number of different environments from Retail, Food Manufacturing in the UK and overseas and, more recently, in Education. She retired last year having been HR and Communications Director for Ormiston Academies Trust for 9 years. Having retired Carmel was looking for a further challenge within the education sector and so has become a governor at Eversfield having previously been a governor within an Ormiston secondary school in Stoke. Her husband is a Bursar within the Independent sector and their son benefited from an independent school education having attended Lichfield Cathedral School.
